“ Quite simply the best spot in down! You can see how much care goes into everything that comes out of here. Super fresh ingredients all carefully arranged to produce a beautiful, colorful, and downright SCRUMPTIOUS meal!! Fish cooked to perfection!! Johnny and team are incredibly pleasant and super helpful with all my questions! Couldn’t recommend them enough. Xoxoxo ”
“ Was in town visiting from North Pole, found this amazing place right on the spit. Love the color and the flavors were great! Outdoor seating has cover from the rain if needed. We will stop here again next time we are in the area. ”
“ The salmon poke bowl was out of this world. Johnny has got it going on when it comes to celebrating local fresh fish and produce for reasonable prices. The miso special was sweet and salty and had the incredibly fresh flavor of the kachemak bay from locally sourced kelp. If you are in Homer, you simply cannot miss this fresh and flavorful eatery. ”
“ When locals recommend ... LISTEN! The Poke bowls were bursting with layered flavors and textures. The kimchi and mushrooms were out of this world. For pescatarian this is your euphoric experience. Located in the same building as the salmon sisters Johnny’s corner is on the corner of the building selling out of their window with plenty a picnic seating covered and in the sun out of the wind. The ball were enormous and enough for two people to walk away feeling like they ate too much. The only recommendation we might have is to add a little more rice to mix in with the flavors, but that’s hardly a complaint when normally we have the reverse experience of too much rice and too little poke. Delicious and worth every penny ! Locally owned by Homer Family! Support local! ”
“ Oh my god.....look at these bowls!!! Not only are they beautiful, but also Incredibly delicious! So many fresh and tasty vegetables and the protein in all the bowls were so good! We got the poke bowl, the cooked sockeye bowl and the pork belly! Don't pass up on any of them, especially the pork! Best meal we ate in Homer! ”
“ We loved the spot. We came by when we were not hungry and got coffee next-door, but knew we had to come back. We are so happy that we did! Honestly, the best meal I’ve had in the two weeks I’ve been in Alaska so far! ”
“ Johnny's Corner rocks! Well worth the drive to the end of Homer Spit! I got the the Salmon poke bowl and husband got the Halibut bowl. Got our orders to go as I had to get a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to pair with the salmon. Delicious! Both meals were amazing. Highly recommend! ”
“ Really good food! I had the Adak (Hazelnut crusted Halibut). So fresh! It had these mushrooms I could have eaten a bowl of. The mango relish was super fresh. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I probably would have eaten here every day. The chicken was delicious as well. Very flavorful! Should have got a couple orders to go, heat it up on the boat during one of our fishing expeditions. The chef is on point with his flavors. Each dish is very thought out and has different textures that complement each other very well. Must stop spot in Homer. ”
